Levelland Skate Park Meeting Set
Designers will meet with those interested in the Levelland Skate Park on June 25, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. in the Levelland City Hall City Council Chambers. Designers will present a short slide show and then begin taking design ideas from the audience. Come be a part of designing Levelland's first skate park. Levelland Skate Park is one step closer to reality. A final design was tentatively decided on July 22, 2008, but funds still need to be raised to complete the whole park. Individuals or businesses that would like to contribute to the skate park can make donations to City of Levelland/Voluntary Park Fund at City Hall, 1709 Ave H. The Voluntary Park Fund is a way residents can contribute to the park system for the betterment of Levelland’s park system and only the park system. This benefits everyone. This can be done by donating as little as a $1 per month to be taken off on their water bill, or lump sum donations can be made for a specific project such as the skate park. More information will come in the next weeks.
